Are you a Kyonggi University student who is worried about your career? Pharos would like to tell you about the HR Development Department's programs designed to aid students in career choices and employment preparation.

 EXTRACURRICULAR PROGRAMS

Explore 19 programs, including recruitment sessions and document writing training. Earn KGU points, fulfilling graduation requirements and qualifying for scholarships.

 EXTRACURRICULAR PROGRAM REVIEW

Kim Ki Wook from HR Mentors led a Job-cafe session, detailing post-fourth industrial revolution job market changes, tasks, occupations, and KSA (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) requirements.

 CURRICULUM PROGRAMS

Curriculum programs are managed according to job preference and aim to strengthen employment capabilities based on undergraduate year. For each year, there are three courses; Multi Presentation Coaching, Personal Relations and Self-Management, and Personal Relations and Self-Management for female university students.

 CURRICULUM PROGRAM REVIEW

1. Multi Presentation Coaching

By taking this course, I could examine my strengths and weaknesses regarding my presentation abilities. This course will help you overcome your public speaking anxiety and build your confidence.

2. Personal Relations and Self-Management, Personal Relations and Self-Management for female college student

These courses have different targets, but they offer the same curriculum. I could learn about personal relations and business leadership in a pleasant atmosphere. Especially, I recommend the course taught by Prof. Jeong Yeon Woong. It may even be a good chance to make many friends if you are an introverted person.

 COUNSELING PROGRAMS

For Kyonggi students concerned about their career, Pharos suggests counseling. Gain assistance with career decisions, personal statements, resumes, and interviews through offline, online, or clinic sessions. Available 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during semesters and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during vacations. Each session lasts an hour. Be sure to confirm the counselor's campus location. A Pharos reporter interviewed a counselor at Kyonggi's HR Development Department.
