[ Introducing the panda family^^ ] 

• (Mommy panda) Aibao 

• (Daddy panda) Lebao

• (Baby panda) Fubao

 The panda is an endangered species, so their childbirth is a very miraculous occasion. On July 20, 2020, with careful care from zookeepers and cheers from everyone, baby panda Fubao arrived in a magical way. The baby panda’s name, Fubao, means ‘the gift that gives happiness’.

 We thought Fubao was going to live with us in Korea forever. However, next year Fubao has to go back to China. Many Koreans who became familiar with Fubao from her birth and the zookeepers who raised her are voicing their sadness.

 Even if Fubao goes back to China, Fubao will be our panda princess forever. Like the name ‘the gift that gives happiness’, Fubao gave us happiness and laughter, as well as healing and affection. We hope and pray Fubao will stay healthy and happy in China, too.
