Recently, when asked, “What is your hobby?” most students say they don’t have one or reluctantly say they watch YouTube, movies, and dramas. What is the reason? The biggest reason is the lack of money, time, and strength in modern society. However, according to a survey conducted by JOB KOREA, young people want to have a hobby but failed to find one that suits them. In addition, there is various content such as YouTube or Netflix that can be easily consumed at home, and adult hobbies are disappearing. Therefore, Pharos would like to help students at Kyonggi University who are searching for new hobbies. Gwanggyo Well Being Sports Training Center is a multipurpose sports facility that is a great place to start a new hobby in which you can experience various sports such as swimming, table tennis, and yoga. In particular, this place includes a variety of sports facilities such as a billiard room, a swimming pool, and a basketball court in one building.

Gwanggyo Well Being Sports Training Center is located about a 15-minute walk from Gwanggyo Station. Also, it is very accessible from Kyonggi University because it is easy to visit by bus. The center has various sports facilities and there are book cafes on the second floor. There is also a small futsal court outdoors that everyone can use for free on a first come, first serve basis. The one-day fee is 1,800 won per hour and can be easily paid at the kiosk. The multipurpose gym is an indoor gym, so you can always enjoy exercising regardless of the weather and season.

The swimming pool is available during the day and you can also take a class. The
timetable is tightly organized from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Lessons are divided into Monday / Wednesday / Friday and Tuesday / Thursday. The class level is divided into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Three classes are run at the same time, so users can easily find a time that suits them. The monthly fee is 65,000 won for the Monday / Wednesday / Friday class, 60,000 won for the Tuesday / Thursday class, and the free swimming ticket for one month is 54,000 won. In addition, re-registration and one-day tickets can be easily registered at the kiosk. If you want to use it for only one day, you just pay 4,000 won. If you want to use the swimming pool, there is a swimsuit rule, so you should visit the official website and read the precautions carefully before you plan to visit.

There is a GX room and a book cafe on the second floor. Various sports classes are opened in the GX room, such as sports dance, aerobics, broadcast dance, yoga and pilates classes. The class fee varies from 30,000 won to 45,000 won for each class. Usually, these class fees are between 100,000 won and 200,000 won at private schools.
