The official name of Five Guys is “Five Guys Burgers and Fries,” and it is a fast food restaurant that was opened by one couple in the United States in 1986. Under the initiative of Hanwha Galleria, it landed in Korea. The menu consists of hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, shakes, and drinks. The biggest feature of Five Guys is that they use peanut oil in every item. To exemplify this, when you enter the store, you can see boxes of peanuts all around the store. If you look at the menu, there are four types of hamburgers, and the number of patties is divided into small and normal. The most special thing about this place is that all 15 sauces and toppings for the burger can be added for free, so you can customize the burger based on your taste. The basic methods are “All the Way” and “Everything,” which adds all the toppings. In the case of French fries, there are the standard Five Guys style and Cajun style. One of the attractions of Five Guys is that the French fries are overflowing the bag. If you order a sandwich from Five Guys, you should be aware that this is just a hamburger without the patty.

 Pharos reporters ordered four hamburgers, two milkshakes, and two small-sized fries. First, we ate a bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions and mushrooms added to the “Everything” option. There were so many sauces that the clerk double-checked when taking orders. We were worried that some ingredients might taste bad because all ingredients were included together in the Everything option, but it was a burger that tasted rich and satisfying because the taste of the burger ingredients makes your mouth come alive. The second time, we tried a bacon burger but we did not opt for “All the Way” and “Everything”. It was true that some of the ingredients were missing, so we felt that it was a little lacking. However, we were still happy that we could make burgers with ingredients that suit our taste. Finally, we had a cheeseburger with added relish ordered “All the Way”, which contains the most basic ingredients. In “All the Way”, you could feel the delicate taste of the meat, unlike with the “Everything” option. We can describe it as a tasty burger without being heavy.
